In 1990, Ross Campesi, Sr. created Louisiana Commerce & Trade Association to meet the workers' compensation needs of his own five companies. The success of this Fund led him to market LCTA to assist other Louisiana businesses with a cost effective workers' compensation solution. Having five different successful companies gave Mr. Campesi the experience and understanding of the difficulties many employers faced when dealing with workers' compensation coverage. This experience has led LCTA to be one of the most successful self-insured funds in the state.
Grace has served the LCTA Membership with dedication and insight over the past seventeen years. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Grace, President of Risk Management Resources, held a senior management position with Maintenance Enterprises, an industrial construction & contracting company, working in petro-chemical plants and refineries both, national and international. During this segment of her career, she successfully dealt with the various challenges to profitability, productivity, and safety created by a diverse operation. Grace’s experience taught her the value of a safe and productive workforce. She prides herself on being an advocate of employers and our greatest asset, our employees. Grace’s commitment to safety is paramount in her ability to understand and meet the specific needs of the LCTA Membership.
